I’ve scoured the internet about this school management system. I’ve read reviews, blog comments, forums, and a lot of different articles about this software and I’ll now give you all the important details that you should know.

First of all, Fedena is not a martial arts school software, the article title is Fedena school management software review so it’s still on the same category. I’ve checked their website and this is what they have to say about their own product.

“Fedena provides user-friendly dashboards with login access to all the teachers, non-teaching staff, students, parents and management body of your institution. The various modules available in Fedena takes care of all the processes in your institution, right from admission of new students to generating transfer certificate, when the student completes the studies.

Fedena has modules to manage Timetable, Attendance, Examinations, Gradebooks, Campus News, Hostel, Library, Transportation, School Calendar, Events and many more. It has a full fledged Human Resource module to manage the payroll and payslip of employees. The Finance module helps you to plan and allot different fee structure to students. Fedena is also an excellent collaboration tool using its Task, Discussion, Poll, Blog and Video conference plugins. There is an internal messaging system within Fedena, but you can also integrate it with external communication tools like email and sms.”

This is their product description and based from what they say it looks like their product is customizable using the different plug-ins. It’s also very versatile as you can do a lot of things using their software. Also, based on their website, they are widely used all over Asia, specifically India and Japan. They are also used in Colombia, Kuwait, Italy, and even in America. They are multi awarded by different institutions like UK Trade and Investment, NASSCOM, MiT TR35, and Edustars. They were also featured in CNBC-TV18 Young Turks.

As I’ve said, I’ve looked for different information and I’ve just given you information based from own websites and blogs. So be prepared for what the people are saying about this system… Well, the reviews are mostly positive. I’ve only seen one negative comment and it’s about Fedena not replying on an email. I checked the forums, and some posts are about features that customers want to see on the next update. Fedena actually replies with good news and another good thing is that they actually listen to what their customers want.

From my perspective, the best thing about this product is that it’s initially free. And when it’s free, it’s good, so you can try out for yourself if the system is worth the money or not. Based from what I’ve searched for, it will be a good idea for you dear martial arts master to try this one out. If you’re saying that “I don’t have the time”, the reviews are saying that it only takes 10 minutes to use which means that it’s user friendly. Plus, the customizing part is very important. If you’re aware with opensource software, then you’re going to be glad about Fedena. Fedena is very customizable so you can anything and everything you want with it. There is no perfect software that can do everything but with Fedena, you can do whatever you want with it so you can meet your school’s demands.

My final verdict is, give Fedena a try. It’s free (initially), customizable, user friendly, and did I say it’s free (initially)? Seriously, give it a try.
