That blank space is for you to come up with. Businessmen have this long desired goal to create or discover the next best thing. Yes, it’s not that easy, but coming up with something with entrepreneurial value can bring upon boundless opportunities. When we say “product” in the martial arts business world, most people are thinking about gear, belts, food, books and other related items. It may seem that every conceivable sellable item has already been created, but that’s not the case. With the right determination and information, you can still come up with an excellent product. Read the following tips for producing a great product.

Combine Things

A lot of goods are already in circulation, but don’t let that deter you to create something better. Make a great product by combining some of the products that are already being offered to the public. Here’s one, make a full body outfit that protects the whole body. It combines all of the essential protective gear in one whole protective suit. I haven’t Googled it yet and I don’t know if such a thing exists (most probably it does), but it should give you an idea of what I’m trying to say.

You can also use this concept on services by mix and matching offers and deals. For example, you can offer 2 for 1 deals for parents and kids. Kids can learn Karate while the adults can learn self-defense techniques. You can do anything you want as long as it’s unique.

 Fulfill a Need

No one can really pin point the exact reason why Bruce Lee created Jeet Kune Do. One of the theories says that Mr. Lee found Wing Chun to be ineffective against bigger opponents. The theory also suggests that Wing Chun has unnecessary and excessive movements that lengthen the fight. Jeet Kune Do was born because Bruce Lee found Wing Chun to be imperfect. He wanted something more, something better, so he decided to produce something which satisfied his need. Have you ever been annoyed with a product before? Do you think you could make it better?

Create Something That You Want to Use

It may be alluring to create a product simply because of its shock value and hype. It can make money, sure, but these kinds of goods never last long. Real longevity stems from real value and quality. A product that will revolutionize the way we normally live our lives. You are in the health, fitness, and self-defense niche. Imagine a product that will change the way we visualize these concepts. Make it so effective that you yourself will use it and will be further used and bought by future generations.

Creating a great product isn’t a walk in the park, but it’s not an impossible feat. Sometimes it needs a stroke of luck, a sudden spark of ingenuity, or a wanting to bring change that will make life better.
