Jamie Ridgway, owner of the Renaissance Academy of Martial Arts (RAM) in Lynchburg, VA, recently taped a guest appearance for FXs popular Mixed Martial Arts television show The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), scheduled to air during the shows upcoming Season 17.

During taping of the TUF episode, Ridgeway, along with Chael Sonnen and his coaching staff, led Team Sonnen through an intense Muay Thai workout. Ridgeway has been training in the martial arts disciplines for 24 years. He is currently a Gracie Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, Muay Thai Kru, Karate Black Belt and Mixed Martial Arts instructor.

All of the fighters and coaches were incredible to work with! It was simply an honor to be asked to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity, said Jamie Ridgeway, owner of the Renaissance Academy of Martial Arts.
